15 November 2017. The National Investment Bank (NIB), has donated office equipment worth GHC18,390.00 to the General Headquarters (GHQ) Resettlement Unit of the Ghana Armed Forces on Wednesday, 15 November 2017.
The donation which was done at Burma Hall in Burma Camp was to aid in the smooth running of operations and administration of the Provident Fund of the Ghana Armed Forces.
The items donated were 4 HP Desktops, 4 Mercury UPS, HP LJ M12A, HP LJ PRO M12A, HP PROBOOK 450, HP NOTEBOOK and SEAGATE 2D LINK 4.
The Chief of the Army Staff (COAS), Maj Gen William A Ayamdo, who received the donation on behalf of the GHQ Resettlement Unit, expressed his heart-felt appreciation to the Board of Directors of NIB for the kind gesture.
The Deputy Managing Director of the National Investment, Bank Mr Alfred George Thompson in his response said the bank would continue to support the Ghana Armed Forces if the need be.
