10 October 2017. The Ghana Chinese Chamber of Commerce and the Ghana Association of Chinese Society has on Tuesday 10 October 2017, donated a cheque of GH¢50,000.00 to the 37 Military Hospital at the Tang Palace Hotel at Roman Ridge in Accra.
The purpose of the donation was to enable the hospital give the necessary medical care to victims that suffered various degrees of injuries during the gas explosion at Atomic Junction on Saturday 7 October, 2017.
The President of the Ghana Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Ghana Association of Chinese society, Mr Tang Hong in his address said the incident was unfortunate and prayed that such never happened again in the country.
The Commanding Officer of the 37 Military Hospital, Colonel Yeboah-Agyapong who received the cheque on behalf of the Hospital thanked the Chinese Society for their donation and said the money will be used judiciously for the task to which it was given and asked other benevolent organizations to emulate.
